Early Career Teacher Describes Teaching
Teaching has been my dream since a very young age! This should be the normal and most common answer when you ask a teacher about his childhood dream job. For me, It was absolutely the opposite. I have never seen myself teaching anybody even my closest friends and relatives! I have always considered myself an introvert. My best friend used to be a book I'm reading! I have never liked crowded places or getting to know new people! Going to a wedding or a party was more like a nightmare to me.

Ways to Build a Successful Teaching Career
Considering how to build a successful teaching career is no different than similar considerations for any other profession. Before beginning such consideration, however, one must first ponder what success looks like. What is your conception of a successful teaching career? After resolving my definition of "success" I'm left with three primary factors to consider; education, self-awareness of where in the teaching profession I'll be happiest, and obtaining good relevant experience.

My teaching journey has started when I decided to study science education at university because since I was a child, I'd loved to teach and to learn, to share knowledge and to understand the world around me. There I could learn a lot about didactics, learning theories and psychology, teaching methods, and many other human sciences, in addition to several hours of internship at elementary schools and kindergarten.

How do You Build a Successful Teaching Career?
What defines teachers' success? There is no one thing teachers can do to be successful. Success is not defined by just one aspect. Students, the learning experience, classroom environment, the relationship between teachers and their students, assessments, and outcomes can all define the success of teachers and their teaching career. If the students have learned and can apply the lessons they have learned in class to their career, it means teachers have been effective and efficient in teaching what they wanted their students to learn.

How My Previous Teaching Experience Changed My Career Choice
This summative task topic personally attracted me due to my very recent experience with teaching. To begin with, I, myself is a 22-year-old fresh university graduate in Hong Kong who undertook Business Marketing. To add to that, I also planned on pursuing a career in the business industry. During my university days, I would take up different kinds of part-time jobs for two simple reasons; to make use of my skills and hobbies and earn some cash from it. These hobbies included babysitting, arts & crafts and more.

3 Key Ways to Build Your Teaching Career From Scratch
There are many fields in today's industries that require growth and adaptation on part of the worker. Teaching is no exception. While it's true that after a few years many teachers will recycle old lessons, the lessons need to adapt to the new classroom. Being outdated can lead students to boredom and teachers losing confidence in themselves. The question becomes not 'why' but 'how' can teachers develop their careers.

Alumna Story: ✅ How TEFL Course Affected My Teaching Career
EFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is a unique area of expertise, requiring individual training. This essay will argue that the value of completing a TEFL course far exceeds that of merely placing a certificate to a teacher's name and improving their credibility and job prospects; because such a course has the potential to significantly broaden and deepen the future teacher's understanding of English—including its rules, exceptions, and quirks. A TEFL course can provide a 'sneak peek' into the industry, describing commonly-faced potentially tricky situations so that the future teacher will be ready and prepared when they, too, might face... Teaching Skills as a Central Point of Your ESL Career
Over the years of teaching, I have had the experience to work with many teachers from all over the world. I have worked with teachers in music, English, art, and other fields in education. Because of this, I have been exposed to different types of teaching styles used in the educational field. There have been styles that are excellent in delivering a lesson that students learn and understand. I have also seen teaching styles that are not the best and it has left many students confused and in the disarray of the lesson they just sat through. Through the level of experience I have been exposed to I concluded that it is highly important that teachers study and continue to learn... [Read more]

It is true that following a lesson plan may make the class rigid and lack flexibility. But for some inexperienced teachers, we may get panic when there are unexpected things arising in the class. By preparing a lesson plan, firstly we will have a thorough idea about what is going to happen so we can be mentally ready to some degree. Moving Forward: My Personal Teaching Experience, Changing Careers
I've always wanted to be a teacher. In high school, I was inspired by my English teachers and the way they were able to make material interesting and motivating. I remember telling myself that I would not be the person who changes the world, but perhaps as a teacher, I would be able to inspire the person who would. From the beginning, my motivation was to help others in a meaningful way. My goal was to improve the lives of others. When I entered university, I found myself studying philosophy to become a professor in the future. However, the reality of being a university professor was a lot of presenting and publishing, with very little teaching. Because teaching... [Read more]
