Online vs. On-Site TEFL Courses
The content of online courses and onsite courses is similar. As for the effect of learning, it varies from person to person. Some students like online courses. Because online courses do not need to go to the site to attend classes, they can go to class directly at home, which is convenient and time-consuming. It is more flexible, you can choose the time of the lecture, and you can listen to it repeatedly during the validity period. In particular, most of the users of our drop-out network are in-service personnel, and they can use the time to watch the video to learn. Face-to-face courses are convenient, some students prefer onsite courses because the courses are more direct, and they can... [Read more]

Teaching in Taiwan: What it's Really Like
In the current climate of the US, many other countries that are moving to a more liberal culture are becoming more attractive. One does not become a teacher for the money, but for the experience of working with young people or new learners. It is quite a rewarding career if one is open to trying new things, not being rich, and able to adapt to new situations. There is a lot to consider when leaving one's home country for another to teach. The idea of leaving behind everything for a new place can be scary. In researching teaching in Taiwan, there are several things one needs to consider such as the language and the culture of Taiwan.

What is the big difference between the two!? It's a lot.

What is it Like Teaching English in China?
I've been teaching for almost two years in China as an English teacher. At first, I was only assigned to teach preschool children, due to the sudden leave of their last teacher. I was nervous and didn't know whether I would be able to teach them. They were very young and were absolute beginners. I had to teach letters with paired vocabularies every lesson. But as soon as I got to know them, all my worries disappeared. They were supportive and eager to learn.

Alumni Report: What It’s Like Teaching English in Austria
Between 2017 and 2018 after I had graduated with a bachelor's degree in German and English, I moved to Vienna, Austria to become an English teaching assistant through the Fulbright group. I was placed at two schools in Lower Austria and taught around 14-15 classes each week for 50 minute periods. Going into the situation, I honestly felt underprepared and confused as to what I was supposed to teach and how. The program attempted to orientate the teaching assistants, but in reality, there was much I did not know.

Teaching EFL in a Kindergarten - What Is It Like?
Imagine what a child may feel when going to kindergarten for the first time. The new environment tends to be intimidating. EFL kindergartens are even more so due to foreign faces that speak foreign languages. In this essay, I'm going to talk about important aspects teachers need to embrace when teaching EFL in a kindergarten. I will refer specifically to the advantages of using play, establishing an environment of clear rules and the language enrichment that comes with oral storytelling. These ideas stem from my +5 years of teaching EFL in international kindergartens in China.

Review from TEFL Students in Corinth
These two TESOL trainees had a wonderful time in Corinth taking their in-class TEFL course. They enjoyed the location of the school as it was close to the beach as well as interesting sites and attractions. They did not only learn a lot about Greek culture but also how to be professional teachers in an international classroom. They appreciated the fact that they were able to utilize the methodologies and tips covered in the morning lessons in their teaching sessions in the afternoon. Moreover, they were able to quickly improve their skills through one-to-one feedback sessions with the teacher trainers.
