Cambodia is one of the most exciting countries in Asia and it is not hard to see why. The country is blessed with rich culture, natural beauty, and ancient structures. Visitors come here to see the temples, of course, but there is plenty to do in and around the city when you are templed out. Siem Reap has reinvented itself as the epicentre of chic Cambodia, with everything from backpacker party pads to hip hotels, world-class wining, and dining across a range of cuisines, sumptuous spas, great shopping,... 9 Hobbies Every EFL Teacher Needs To Try When Teaching English Abroad
It's great to move somewhere new with your TEFL skills and to discover new places but, although traveling is exciting, there are times when you may want to do something without having to move too far from your new base. There are plenty of pastimes or hobbies that can be taken up when moving around from place to place, some of which might help you add variety to your English lessons for your students. For example, you can use your students to teach you about local cuisine to develop their vocabulary associated with food, language patterns for describing how to cook things, or how to give recommendations. Why Music is Crucial in a Classroom
Music is something that nearly everyone in the world enjoys. Music is a universal language. No matter what language you may speak, music is in every corner of the world and every culture. It is one of the many things that can unite people of all places and backgrounds. Because of this, I think music is essential in an English classroom. Especially in a multilingual or multicultural classroom, the students can relate to one another not only through their English knowledge but also through the fact that they like listening to music. If a song is in English, the students might not understand it. However, students can still enjoy a catchy melody or even just the instrumentals behind it while still... [Read more]

The Best Thing I've Learned From My TEFL/TESOL Course with ITTT
I decided to complete TEFL course nearly a month ago. Before talking about the reasons why I took this course, I would like to tell some facts about myself. My name is Julia, I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine and had been living there for all my life – now I'm 35. I had a very successful career in marketing an worked for a big international company. However, the job took up all my time, required a lot of effort and I felt very exhausted and unhappy. So I decided to quit my job and started to travel: Georgia, Italy, Spain, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore. Now I live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
