Nakhon Si Thammarat is centrally located in Southern Thailand and is only a few hours away from the famous beach resorts of Koh Samui, Phuket and Krabi. Although it is located close to these centers it is nevertheless off the usual tourist trail and maintains a typical Thai flavour. Prices in Nakhon are much lower than in Bangkok or the major tourist centers and the Rajabhat salary provides for a very comfortable standard of living.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I enjoyed learning about lesson planning in Unit 9. I thought the unit gave great visuals and examples of lesson plans and what should be included and why. Being a new teacher, lesson plans and how detailed they are is going to be very important and determine how effective lessons are and how smoothly they go. I will definitely use the lesson plan template provided when I am teaching. I learned a lot of great information from this unit. This unit is really a very important and different one because it made me notice through videos the difference between a bad and a good lesson. The best and the most interesting thing about the two videos was that it was the same teacher who once made a bad lesson and on the other he made a good one, which implies that one could introduce a bad lesson or an effective one depending on applying the previously studied concepts in teaching.
