Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I loved the suggestions and ideas for lesson planning. I agree that the lesson plan should be highly flexible. I also find that dividing my class time into time segments is very helpful. The time segments help me to provide meaningful content throughout the whole lesson. One thing I did not see here was a backup plan. In some lessons, activities can be shorter than planned. It is nice to have a backup plan in case you have extra time.More confusion and much more to learn to be able to teach this effectively to students for whom English is not their native language. However, how ever challenging these concepts are, with rules and of course exceptions, it is organised to assist students. Asking questions is very important in English or communicating in any language, and the positive aspect here is that the reporting can be taken from the context of the conversation.
