We require a motivated and energetic TEFL qualified teacher to teach English in a large, successful school in Phuket. The job involves providing individual support to young learners on an English Programme. The children, aged 6-9 years-old, study one lesson per day with a native English speaker and are at the early stages of English Language development.
You should be a native English speaker and have experience of teaching young children, preferably with some knowledge of teaching phonics, using a structured, multi-sensory approach. You also should have excellent communication skills and strong classroom management ability. To apply, contact us by e-mail at the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Like for the present tense, the past has a lot of rules, with very easy common mistakes to be done. To avoid them is to have a clear mind set of each of the past Tense rules, being able to explain clearly to the student the usage and the form of each of them. The activity with the students will be a big part of the teacher preparation and knowing and understanding the all lesson will be highly important. This Unit helped me understand the difference between a bad teacher that doesn't care what happens in the class as long as it fills time and a teacher who truly cares for the students progress and strives to have good teaching practices. Such practices as smiling, using visual aids, rephrasing questions to elicit ideas from the students and creativity as well as creating synergy between the phases of ESA.
