Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit focused on phrasal verbs, passive voice and modal expressions. First the unit went through the different types, meanings and usage of modal auxiliary verbs. Several helpful examples and treatment of the meaning were put forth. Then the unit looked at the nature and usage of the passive voice, including its formation. Then the unit treated transitive, intransitive and separable/inseparable phrasal verbs.Receptive skills such as listening and reading are basic skills that is such a short unit but very important. It can educate the learners without even teaching that much. It is meant to improve the students general idea of the use of language. They hear how to use the different words and the tenses taught very early in the lessons. Reading improves the pace of comprehension and it is very good visual stimulation.
