Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was extremely complicated and confused me. I think this has been the most difficult unit so far, as understanding each the placement of verbs, pronouns etc, in order to verify whether it is intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. These three specifically confused me. However, I enjoyed how modal verbs were explained and were not as difficult to understand.Unit 18, Modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice, was an essential piece in the awareness of the intricacies of teaching grammar to second language English learners. As a native English speaker I've used phrasal verbs instinctively, however learning the rules of their construction was challenging. Nonetheless, this chapter helped me understand the more delicate aspects of English grammar.
