Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This chapter introduced me to more practical applications of ESA methods. More specifically, expanding student's vocabulary is an essential foundation. The chapter gives very useful ways of how to successfully increase student's vocabulary. For exampling, selecting a vocabulary that is directly related to student's language, or task, or frequency of use, will likely cause higher rate of retention. This unit dealt with the two productive skills of the four components of language learning, speaking and writing. Various activities for working on accuracy and fluency were presented. The unit also included guidelines for making students more comfortable with speaking, ideas for creative writing, and ESA lesson plans for speaking and writing. Using games for language learning is highly effective.
