These two videos highlighted the differences that the attitude and motivation of a teacher can have upon the success of his class and the enjoyment and positive learning attitude of the students. The video helped me to realise that even though you may lack experience or teaching training, it can be compensated for with a positive attitude and the ability to engage students of all ages, cultures and abilities. This Unit has given me the chance to reinforce and refresh my basic, grammatical knowledge of the English language and has provided valuable insight on various parts of speech that I had taken for granted as a native English speaker. With a more in depth understanding of the basics of the English language, I now feel more confident in my ability to effectively relay this information to those willing to learn.
