Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit thirteen covers pronunciation and phonology. It gave a definition for phonology and covered the types of intonation that is common in the English language. There where several examples and I really think by writing the sentence and using the arrow diagram it will be easier to teach to students. There was also the section on stress on syllables and words in the English language. Most of my students are fairly happy to speak, but a few still have issues. On the other side of the coin, the people who have a problem speaking have some of the best handwriting. That's not to say it's one or the other, but there's occasionally a very clear connection between the two. Handwriting is normally covered by a different teacher, but I'm the one who has to get them to talk!
