Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.


In this unit we learned about the usage and the teaching methodologies of the most problematic direct and reporting speeches and also the five conditionals. Namely, 1. Zero conditional 2. First conditional 3. Second conditional 4. Third conditional 5. Mixed conditional We learned about the verb tenses, Pronouns, Time expressions rules in order to use the direct speech when reporting to the third party.There are two camps of course books. Some teachers swear by it, while some would be on the other end and omit, adapt, supplement, and replace materials of the course books. The usage of authentic and created material are often replacements or supplement to coursebooks. Limitation of course books such as whether or not it is sensitive to student's background is also a fact for considering alternatives.
