Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I was able to tell the difference between present simple form, present continuous, and present perfect forms. Before this unit, I have never really paid attention to the difference, and after reading about it, I am able to discern the differences between them. Reading about this unit has allowed me to think of ways that will make it easy for me to explain to other people. An important part of teaching receptive skills is having comprehension tasks for students. It is important when teaching receptive skills that the lesson is based around the learners and that you choose topics and activities that the learners are interested in and also tasks that will get them excited and motivated to learn. Also have a variety of materials that aid the students learning.
