This portion was somewhat easier for me since my major, speech pathology, focuses on phonemic transcription and pronunciation/articulation a lot. Most of this was already in my knowledge base but I always struggled with where the stress falls since I think it depends lots on dialect. The clarification of voiced and unvoiced and place/manner of articulation is important and this lesson did well in explaining them.In this unit I have learned the definition of \"reported speech\" and how such speech is created, especially how the pronouns and verb tenses change. I have also learned about \"conditional speech\" which means the kind of sentence where a condition has to be fulfilled before the main clause can be completed. More precisely I have learned what are the forms and usage of 5 different types of conditional sentences.
