A big amount of population of the world watches Hollywood’s movies. This expansion also led to an increase in popularity of the English language. Challenges For Learners

English can be also very difficult, especially for non-native speakers. There are words written in one way and then read in another way, which can be very confusing. Furthermore, difficulties appear in different areas in the world, as the pronunciation and the accent is not everywhere the same, making it difficult for persons who speak English as a second language. For example in England, Wales and Scotland they all speak English, but for a nonnative English speaker, it can be very difficult to understand the different accents.

Since the English language is so widely spoken, many people believe is vital to learn as a second language. People seem to have made the right decision, as it is spoken in a wide geographical area.

To sum up, a big part of our planet speaks English, is considered an easy language to learn. But in my opinion, the level of difficulty also depends on the individual learner. English has simply developed to be an easy way of communication between various nations and the world. I think we can say English is the global language, as it is the language of technologies and computing. Nowadays English is used in most jobs around the world.
