Cultural Features in an ESL Classroom in the UAE
Coming from the UK and only working with British students, when I arrived in the UAE which is an Arab country following a strong Islamic faith, most of my new work colleagues and students were Arabs and followers of Islam. The last six years of working in the UAE have taught me a valuable lesson about why cultural sensitivity is so important, especially when working with the future generation of a nation, not only am I building rapport as a teacher, but also as a representative of my own country.

Role of the Teacher: Jack of All Trades
The one thing l liked most about teaching was the many jackets one gets to wear. To some l was a fashion icon, to others a role model, to others someone they could easily go to and talk about their life and personal challenges. Hence, the code of conduct for teachers stretches even to their communities and homes. Their mere being impacts the lives of the country's generations and helps build a nation, academically and socially.

Teaching Job: How Do People See it?
Most would simply say that a teacher is that person standing in front of a classroom "teaching", and they wouldn't be wrong. If a little more thought is actually given to the question, people would begin to understand that a teacher is much more than someone reading out of a book or simply following a syllabus, flipping through the pages just to get from cover to cover. The role of a teacher as it has always been being something often overlooked and taken for granted.

How Can Teachers Increase Their Confidence in the Classroom?
Teachers face several and different situations inside their classrooms every day. These situations may be even beyond their comfort zone. A teacher's commitment, confidence, and interest create a more positive pleasant classroom environment that will also radiate to students towards becoming efficient and productive learners. Aside from that, a confident character among teachers would consistently and positively impact not just their learners' achievement, but also their attitude and even socio-emotional growth.

The Strategy of Increasing Teacher’s Confidence in the Classroom
Confident teachers can make confident learners. A confident teacher would have a positive impact on his or her students' attitude. Teachers' belief in their teaching capabilities could affect how they perceive, approach and teach their students. Having confidence as a teacher can improve your overall effectiveness as well as your well-being. Unfortunately, students can be quick to spot a lack of confidence, which can lead to issues with classroom management.

Why TEFL Teachers Should Work on Establishing Rapport
Establishing rapport with students is a crucial part of any successful teacher because it allows teachers to teach their students more effectively and in different ways. Rapport is defined as, "the ability to maintain harmonious relationships based on affinity...is more colloquially thought of as what happens when two people "click"—they connect, interact well, and respond to each other favorably" (Weimer, facultyfocus.com).

What is Motivation and How to Increase it in the ESL Class?
I think being a teacher it is not only to study. This profession includes so many roles such as being a friend, parent, psychologist, etc. It depends on many factors like age, nationality, size of the group of students, or individual student. One more very important factor is motivation. To find out why motivation plays a key role in building rapport between teacher and student first we need to define the meaning of it.

5 Strategies of Teaching Mixed Ability Classroom
Although students may be in the same class, they may not necessarily have the same ability level. This can be seen in all classes; however, this can become very noticeable in a class designed to teach a language to someone who is not a native speaker. It is up to the teacher to notice these differences in ability levels and restructure their lessons accordingly. There are a few different strategies that will help with gaps in ability levels, which consist of the use of different materials, providing the same materials with a different task, paring weak and strong students together, and even doing nothing.

Creating and Adapting Teaching Materials
Nothing ever comes to be without being created first. The same can be said for any lesson, without creating the materials to be used in the lesson it would be difficult for any teacher to deliver their intended lesson to students. Then one would ask the question of why is it important to create and adapt teaching materials if some already exist.in as much as using already available materials saves time and expense, it is not always effective because the materials not be intended for that specific target group and would not deliver the intended impact if not hinder it all together. Therefore materials need adjusting or adapting them to suit the requirements of the students.
