Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit helps in understanding the key pointers to note when introducing a new language to students. This includes teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions. The guidelines are practical and helped in focusing on the teaching objectives. The suggested lesson plans are good reference for ideas for each of the Engage, Study and Activate stages. This unit covers teaching different special groups, describing some of the main categories of group and covering some of the general rules and Do's and Don'ts for teaching these groups. The main takeaway for me was the importance of preparation in all cases. I also would see the unit as an important source of reference to make sure that I recall the key rules for teaching a specific group.
