Summer Academic Camp Instructor.

For over two decades, APLUS's academic summer camp has helped thousands of students. Our summer camp instructors are an integral part of this mission! They have a love of teaching and are committed to seeing each student succeed. Not only are they adept at classroom management and cultivating a wonderful learning environment, but they are also able to teach the subject matter in a way that keeps students engaged and curious. If hired, summer camp instructors will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

- Provide a clear course schedule and syllabus to students and APLUS. Utilise applications effectively to maximise engagement with students outside of the classroom (i.e. Google Classroom)

- Provide quizzes and tests as needed to students to gauge their level of understanding of the subject matter.

- Support students through office hours, test reviews, and/or email communication.

- Conduct themselves in a professional manner? Consistently communicate with APLUS regarding issues in the classroom

APLUS offers three 3-week summer camp sessions (Monday through Friday) with AM (9:00am-12:00pm) and PM (1:30-4:30pm) courses. Instructors should expect to commit to a full three weeks to minimise disruptions to student learning. Advanced evening courses are also offered for high school students. The 2023 summer camp schedule will be released in mid-December.
