ECHS Teachers Homestay is actively seeking new teachers/host families living in the greater Honolulu area. This is a fun program where students accelerate their learning process by living and studying in their English teachers home. Most students stay from 1-4 weeks. Students are all ages arriving from Europe or Asia. We are looking for a host/teacher that can provide the following: 15 hours private English instruction per week. 3 outings/activities per week with students. Private bedroom. Meals. All certified teachers are encouraged to apply. TEFL/TESOL Certification is a bonus. An extensive ESL teaching history, with a college degree in any subject may also be acceptable. Day time availability required (other outside part time work may be acceptable) Average weekly salary: $900.00 to $1200 per week for part-time work depending on various booking criteria.
