Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was on the different evaluations and testing of the English language. I have heard about the different Cambridge Assessments and the general external examinations but never knew what each of them where for and what they even stood for. It is good to have this information. The testing for the classroom is important for the students and the teacher to know how they are doing and what they are not getting. This unit emphasize on the importance of teachers so solely rely of coursebook. Coursebook should be used as a guide. However, as coursebooks are prepared for general audience, teachers have to be creative in creating materials relevant to their students. Some classes may learn faster or slower than the others therefore, not everything covered in coursebooks are relevant and interesting in the eyes of the students.
