The teachers that we are looking for need a BA or BSC (for science/math teachers).
What is most important is that applicants enjoy teaching in a fun and creative way. Students will also be learning Math and Science in Thai and the English portion of the curriculum is intended to compliment the Thai studies and is part of the English Program curriculum.
Teachers need to be friendly and professional and culturally sensitive.
these positions would suit teachers who are younger and creative in their outlook and teacehing style and want to help and encourage students rather than drilling them.
Games, experiments and creativity are needed.
You will be creating your own lesson plans but will be given the curriculum to be covered.
A great opportunity for those wanting to teach in Thailand outside of Bangkok in a Traditional Thai City but with easy access to bangkok and international resorts on weekends.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The blank lesson planning sheet, along with the sample provided, seems to be a good starting place for lesson planning. I've used a different sheet before which I think isn't as good for teaching English as a foreign language. I really liked the focus on flexibility in lesson planning, and even the mention of if lesson planning in general is a good thing or not. I do think it's a good thing, but over-planning is not helpful.Reflecting upon this unit, I have learned that reading , listening, productive skill, and writing are all equally important components of a lesson in order to have a balanced approach. We should not only focus on one particular skill rather try to incorporate them all. There are also many specific skills when reading and listening such as; predictive skills, scanning, skimming, detail information, and deduction from context.
