Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit about lesson plans abd how to create good ones is very useful for future teachers as it gives information on what we as teachers should be mindful of while making lesson plans. The example lesson plan of the grammar lesson shows a clear picture of what a model plan should look like. Thought there was a bit confusing on some questions about which phase an activity is, as for me, some activities can be used differently. This unit helped me to understand different ways to introduce new vocab to students as well as the different types of structures that might be used for each lesson. I learned that each level of students might find it easier to learn through different structures such as boomerang or through a patchwork structure. I have found that by using drawings and pictures it can further reinforce the learning and understand of vocab words.
