Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In unit 17 which is equipment and teaching aids, we see a lot of teaching aids that we sometimes never thought can be use and are considered aids in teaching english like the photocopier. New technology has made the preparation of the teachers less time consuming and easy as compared to the previous methods with less equipment and aids. Computer and online resources are everywhere that even students can easily get their hands on it.In a new classroom, the teacher will need to establish a rapport with the students and among the students themselves. This can be done with surveys and get-to-know-you games. At the beginning of a class it may be a good idea to play a short language game to get the students interested and energized. If students are reluctant to participate in class, you can have them work in pairs, do role-play or record their work outside of class.
