Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered teaching different groups of learners. The approach must differ depending on the audience. A different approach would be appropriate for a group of beginners compared to young learners, or a class taught at a specific company compared to a one-one session. The unit provided a lot of good suggestions for how to handle different groups of learners and also provided warnings about pitfalls. The unit was good. This section was about the future tense and all the different ways one could describe an event taking place in the future. As stated at the beginning of this passage, it is indeed complicated and overwhelming. However, once separated into sub-sections and organized, it is easier. I cannot imagine teaching this topic to younger students, but I can imagine teaching it to older students who will be able to comprehend it better.
