Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I learned how to teach pronounciation to students. It is so important to teach the proper pronunciation because in other languages they might not have the same sounds or the muscle practice to say certain words. It is important to have the ability and knowledge on how to teach that, and I feel like the videos and readings have given me a better understanding to teach it with activities. The future tenses are probably the most difficult for a student to understand because of the large variety of forms they may take to express actions or events that will be taking place in the future. Some of the anxiety this is likely to create can be mitigated by explaining to the student that many of the structures involved can be freely chosen to express exactly, or nearly exactly, the same idea.
