Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Planning the lesson is very important but planning it too much could make the lessons too rigid. This is why planning the lesson has various purposes, it is a record of what the class has done and gives the teacher something to refer to during the lesson. During the lesson the teacher has to mantian the structure planned in advance but also has to keep it flexible and open to adaptation. This unit was very helpful, as I found it especially helpful to have so many resources to use both for grammar abd dictionary purposes as well as media material and learning/language materials and resources for TEFL. It was also helpful to know the different respurces that will often be available in the classroom, as well as how to use them and their various advantages and disadvantages.
