Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit we learned about equipment and teaching aids. We learned about the several types of equipment and teaching aids that could be available to us as teachers. With each one we talked about pros and cons, and how they should be used effectively in the class room. I liked the idea with having the students work in pairs with one facing the TV and trying to describe what was going on to his or her partner.reading and listening skills are equally important. using authentic reading and listening materials with beginner students would not help students build their confidence with receptive skills. looking at the stock market reports to see how your shares are doing is an example of reading or listening for a purpose. quickly reading a scientific report to get the general idea is an example of using scanning skills.
