Establishing RapportBuilding rapport in a classroom is something I believe to be of utmost importance. All positive environments start with rapport and if a classroom is not a good environment, learning can be impeded. Mutual respect is built from possessing a good rapport and an effective teacher must have the respect of his or her students. students will be more apt to buy into the teachers goals for them. Having a relationship, or connecting, with the students will help motivate them to do their very best, as well as feel comfortable asking for assistance when necessary. These points are why I chose this topic to discuss for my final task to achieve my TEFL certificate.
