What does TEFL mean?

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit taught me the different equipment and teaching aids that can help in teaching. It gave me ideas on the advantages and disadvantages of these equipment, how we can use it properly to maximize its use for better teaching. It also gave me a lot of links and sources to help me with learning materials for my students and other resources which are very useful in my teaching. The unit was helpful in how to make use of the various equipment available to the teacher. The listed resources are also always at hand for the teacher to browse and choose material relevant to his students and audience. All these various avenues give to the teacher the resources to maintain a balance in teaching the four basic skills; reading and listening, speaking and writing.
