Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit has been invaluable in helping a native speaker like myself remember how to distinguish between the variations of the present tense, which can be confusing even to fluent speakers, let alone learners - because they sometimes differ so subtly. The present tenses are such an essential foundation to build grammar upon, because it feels like the foundation from which to introduce other tenses to new learners of English. When it comes to tenses, this is my weak spot. I know I need to study this area more in depth and practice more in order to have a complete understanding of how to use the different tenses properly, especially when having to explain it to a student. The worksheets at the end of this chapter are a great way to follow on with the material provided in the lesson and a great resource that I can use as a refresher in the future.
