Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The system and structure of past tenses was covered in the current Unit. Past Simple Tense - the way it foms with regular verbs and the forms of irregular verbs; cases of usage; common mistakes and errors. Past Continuous Tense - the way it forms, usage, and typical student mistakes. Past Perfect Continuous Tense - formation, examples of usage, mistakes. This Unit also introduces some practical ideas of teaching the above sentences.Reading and listening are receptive skills. When we read instructions or listen to directions, our motives are important, which decide where are we going. We can divide the reasons and motives for reading and listening into two wide-ranging categories: for a purpose and for entertainment. When we read and listen, we can use predictive skills, specific information-sanning,general idea-skimming,detailed information, deduction from comtext.
