Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit discussed the different groups that a TEFL instructor might come across. For example, the methods and techniques that one might use to teach a classroom of young learners might be vastly different than those used to teach a group of adult business English students. It also talked about a \"Needs Analysis\" survey that can be given so that the teacher knows how to structure the lesson. This lesson focused on Pronunciation and Phonology. Given that the primary purpose for most English learners is to speak to others, proper pronunciation is crucial. As an instructor and native English speaker, pronunciation becomes difficult to analyze and teach without the proper methods on how to teach it. In this lesson, different overviews of pronunciation and how to teach others was given.
