Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit had really good information for how to set up a course for business english. It was very comprehensive and easy to understand. It was all good suggestions to implement in a business english class. The portion where it talked about teaching very young learners is also good. The many tips and suggestions on what to keep in mind when teaching and how to utilize attention seeking children are very good ideas.i believe lesson plans play an important role in teaching, but shouldn't be relied upon too heavily. Flexibility in a lesson plan is important as teachers may find themselves in a situation where they feel they can use something as a teaching moment depending on the individual students. I think a general overview of the lesson objectives along with some activities is often enough for a relevant and engaging lesson.
