Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 11 discusses the \"Receptive Skills\" of reading and listening. The instructor uses those skills of the class to assist in teaching. This requires some preparatory work by the instructor to ensure that certain vocabulary words are know and understood. This leads to better understanding of the text by allowing the student to see how words are used in context of the subject matter.Unit 1 was easy to read and easy to understand. I had a hard time retaining and/or memorizing topics as this is the first time in over 15 years that I'm exercising my mind in this way. I liked the practice questions because I not only had to list the words but also explain my answers. In the end; it was those critical thinking questions that helped me to remember what I had just read.
