Doga Koleji is seeking ESL teachers for 1st to 8th grade and preschool classroom teachers for children between aged 3 and 6 years for the 2006-07 academic year.

Doga Koleji is located in a beautiful 55, 000m2 forested ravine in the Beykoz section of Istanbul. The natural setting is utilized for outdoor activities like camping and hiking. Among the school facilities is an indoor horse arena, an outdoor horse arena, two (2) swimming pools, sports fields, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, an indoor climbing wall, a music room and a multipurpose theatre.

Istanbul is a modern and progressive city which has a dynamic environment and is rich in culture and history. Living conditions for foreign teachers are very comfortable and we find that foreign teachers enjoy living here. From Turkey, it is easy to travel troughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

* Salary $1300 to $1500 per month

Unit 18 is on modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. This unit was an in-depth look at necessary grammar as an foreign English teacher. It explained when to use which modal auxiliary verbs and the distinction between active and passive voice. It also explained the different clauses, independent, dependent, and relative. It went into detail about relative clauses, which was helpful as I was not familiar with it prior.I have learned about how to use past tense in the correct usage. This unit is about past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect and past perfect continuous tense. In this unit it give us the usage of how to use each simple verbs with examples, it also highlighted some mistakes or errors students make. It also teaches me some activities that I can used to help students to understand the correct usage of past tense.
