Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Knowing grammar and being able to teach it in class is one of the strongest part of the lessons you can give your students, for vocabulary can be self taught, but grammar is better learned in the classroom and practiced with others. It is also important to note that the tenses may be some of the most complicated topics to teach and need plenty of examples and role plays in order to get them right.Another unit with a focus on pedagogy, and I love it! The pedagogy-based lessons in this program are much better than the English Language/Grammar content! I was very happy to see the Games suggestion page as I am sure those will come in very handy once I start teaching ESL! It's interesting to see the break down of how we use language to communicate- very thorough and will be helpful to students.
