TEFL in Kanchanaburi, Thailand

this unit was complete package of phonology and i thoroughly enjoyed learning it. though i have always found intonation too subtle to make any difference (as mentioned in the unit) but i did felt it somehow could be used for learning, as well as teaching. there were few parts where it was explained how English is a non phonetic language, i enjoyed reading the poem and planning to use it as an introduction to my classes.First, I have learnt some listening and reading skills I can use in the classroom, like predictive skill, scanning, skimming, detailed information and deduction from the context. Second, when teachers teach a lesson, they need to consider getting rid of the students language obstacle first during the study phase. Third, i have gone through the ESA lesson plan again, and more clearly about what should i do at each stage.
