Chalermprakiatsomdetprasrinakarin (SWPK) School, Phuket, is looking for native level English speaking teachers to teach secondary school students. If you are not a native English teacher, you must have a minimum TOEIC score of 900/900+

REQUIREMENTS:

* Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching, or a Bachelor's Degree plus a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA Certificate.

* Have at least 1 year teaching experience.

* Be available to work on the occasional weekend.

* Be able to commit to a 12 month contract.

Benefits:

* 30,000 baht per month starting salary

From this unit, I have learned the various roles a teacher and assume on class and this will help me to be able to better manage my class and students. Have learned what a good teacher should be and also what a good student should. I feel this is a good unit and will help me to better evaluate students and of course myself and know how to better instruct the class for the benefit of my students.Another largely interesting unit with some excellent information alongside great ideas for classroom activities, whether specifically designed towards speaking or writing, or simply introducing games into the classroom. That list of games will be well used! It's important also to know what to focus on when it comes to speaking and writing individually, and how to improve students' grasp of both.
