Date posted:2006-04-13 | Writer: Papinporn Language School | Email: [email protected]

Papinporn Language School is the premier language school in the south of Thailand, Based in beautiful Ao Nang close to the sea and the many islands. As a language school we support our teachers in every way we can and the result is our teachers just have to concentrate on their teaching whilst our teacher support department take care of everything else.

Because of the quality of our teachers and the support we give our reputation is growing rapidly. We will be looking to hire a further 15 to 20 new teachers over the next 2 months for our new contracts. Some of these positions will be in areas other than Krabi and some will be for hotel teaching.

In all cases we offer support and we produce all the teaching material. Some of the positions may include accommodation. Pay scale starts at 300Baht per hour up to 400Baht per hour depending on the position and your experience. Hours are from 15 to 24 per week. We take care of visa, work permit and teaching license documentation.

To apply you must be a native English speaker and have a degree, a TEFL certificate would be an advantage. Please email your resume, copies of your certificates, a photo and any references to our General Manger Chris at [email protected].

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I FOUND THIS EXTREMELY TOUGH! IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN PARTICULARLY THE ENGAGE AND STUDY SECTIONS OF THE LESSON WITHOUT ACTUALLY BEING IN A CLASSROOM AND TRIALLING IT FOR MYSELF. I THINK THERE WILL BE A LOT OF TRIAL AND ERROR IN MY EARLY TEACHING TO KNOW HOW THE ELEMENTS FIT TOGETHER AND HOW THEY ARE RECEIVED BY THE CLASS. I HAVE EITHER GOT ALL THE ABOVE WRONG OR MAYBE ALL RIGHT ..I HAVE NO IDEA!This chapter is about the four different basic skills every language is made of. Two are receptive: reading and listening. Two are productive: speaking and writing. Everyone is important and should be taught constantly and equally. There is just one problem,in my opinion, you didn´t consider, and that is, that people learn in different ways. As though for example, some are better in speaking, while other in reading.
