Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit we look at how to teach the bigginers, teaching the children,Business English, the monolingual and multilingual lass. Teaching bigginers we looked at methodology and techniques, positive problem and motivation. Teaching individual student,1-1 activities ,homework and English, looks at the clients and what they need. The monolingual and multilingual looks at avoiding the use of mother tongue. This unit described the varying types of assessment used in an English Learning environment. Normally students will take a placement or diagnostic test upon commencing their studies in English in order to properly assess which level of English they are at. Students should also be regularly assessed during their course to allow the teacher to determine student progress and identify problem areas that need to be worked on.
