Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit breaks down English grammatical concepts dealing with parts of speech. It explains the categories and usage of specific parts of speech and their functions in sentences as well as the generally accepted syntax associated with their order and placement. From this unit, I learned how to break down parts of speech into categories and determine which of those categories might prove most difficult for English learners. This unit introduced the methods and ways of introducing topic to the class. It helps the teacher to know how to start lesson and gave him/her the steps to proceed. the unit gave the teacher a lot of ideas of how to deal with students in class and how to give them the information effectively. It showed the difference between the mistakes and errors and how to deal with them as a teacher and stated three types of corrections.
