Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Similar to the unit on present tenses, this unit covers the form and aspect of the past tense. It is good to see that there is some pattern to English verbs as many of my foreign friends and colleagues have complained about the difficulty in verb conjugation as compared to their native language. I found the explanations of usage from the video to be more effective than the ones in the text.Unit 17 described all the possible visual aids a teacher can use in the classroom. This lesson gave the general uses for each visual aid. The unit also provided links to online dictionaries, and media sources. Like all resources, visual aids are used to help students be engaged and understand the lessons. However, visual aids should only be used if it is for teaching not for an easy lesson.
