A wide variety of tools are available to teachers, it is important to learn how to utilize the ones that are available and the ones most helpful in aiding student understanding. Whiteboards or chalkboards are present in almost every classroom. Though there are a variety of ways one can use a board, there are basics to keep in mind like writing legibly, planning ahead, and making use everything is accurate.A very interesting unit. I loved that it included the link to www.alte.org where some more useful information can be found. The unit helped distinguishing between the types of tests needed to be given to the students before the course and after as well. It also gave descriptions of what tests should be given to the students upon completion of the course. Will definitely be using this information in future.
