Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I think that there are many ways that a teacher can help students build on their receptive and production skills. Certain activities, such as working with literature and project work, seek to integrate work on both receptive and productive skills. Lower level students may not be able to take on a large and complex project, but utilizing an activity where the students are able to think of their own ideas is a good place to start. This unit summed up the equipment and teaching aid usage in a classroom quite efficiently. A person training for teaching would greatly benefit from the links provided to all the online resources and it helps paint a better picture of the various ways one can communicate with the students. These tools help the students be motivated and engaged and further develop their skill in the English language in all of its essential areas.
