Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have developed an understanding of a number of different methodologies that are applied to teaching. for example task based learning. also I have learnt about corrections within lessons, such as you should only majorly correct a student when you are in a study phase of learning but even then should encourage the students to correct themselves first instead of spoon feeding them information. This unit has reminded me how well the patchwork method can work if implemented properly. Learning a new language can be a challenge but it can also be fun and this unit gave me many examples on how to make learning fun, for the students. This unit also gave me ideas on when to introduce new vocabulary to the students and how to make sure the students understand how to use the new vocabulary.
