Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In thinking about the group that I anticipate teaching, I can see the importance of the engagement phase. I suspect that the potential students are expecting a straight classroom lecture situation and will be pleasantly surprised when they experience games and activities to draw them into study. I expect that this phase in particular will help them loose inhibitions and feel more relaxed.I enjoyed this section on the directness of the lesson for teaching vocabulary, grammar and functions. Teaching new language unit 7 has taught me methods for introducing new vocabulary and how to engage students to learn new words, how to help students understand meaning , use and forms of the language and functions of language for the Student to express themselves in varying situations.
