Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Classroom management entails a great responsibility on the part of the teacher. This is where the students' discipline comes in. And, there are different factors to consider when it comes to disciplining a child/student. There are a lot of things I've learned about classroom management. Proper gestures, eye contact, and voice are really important for the teacher to become effective in the classroom. This unit laid the foundation of receptive skills. The unit provides a detailed account of receptive skills and why it is effective while conducting lessons. The unit also points out the importance of reading and listening. The example lesson plan is quite helpful. It helped me understand the flow of Engage, Study and Activate phase. This could prove really useful while I create my own lesson plans.
