Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I learned how to make it easier for students to practice speaking and writing through accuracy and fluency. After reading the typical free/creative speaking activity lesson, I am able to get an idea of what I can do during my class to help them improve. I was able to come up with an idea on how to integrate learning games during the lesson plan to make the students more engaged during class.Unit 7 explained the three building blocks of teaching a new language, vocabulary, grammar, and functions. With each section we were taught why and how to choose the language that would benefit our learners and gave examples on how to teach the language in an ESA structure. It also taught which ESA structure would be best for vocabulary, grammar, or function lessons and gave an example lesson to demonstrate.
