Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learned how to properly put sentences together and also how to structure these sentences. I know most of these subjects like nouns, verbs, pronouns etc. It is just great to get a refreshing course on all these subjects as I haven't done this since school. This will be important to revise as I will be teaching English to small children and some of the examples in this unit is very helpful to explain and show to the students. In this unit, I have learnt that managing a class can be more or less difficult according to the size, age, nationality of students. There are several hints that can help, such as a good sense of eye contact, a good use of one's voice. Managing a class also implies an appropriate grouping of students according to their age and the activity the teacher wants to do : individual work, pairs, whole group ? Each has its pros and cons.
