We're a fast-growing language school in the South of Poland. We're looking for three native speakers (preferably from the UK). The teachers are required to have a teaching qualification and at least one year work experience. Experience with teaching pre-school and primary school children would be an advantage. The school is willing to provide accomodation (furnished flat) for all the three teachers. We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic and committed teachers who would be ready to start working with us from September 2008.

If you're interested in the a/m post or have any questions about it, please send you CV (+ photo) and a cover letter to [email protected]

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit introduces the various methods of grouping students and the advantages and disadvantages of the groups for both the teacher and student. Secondly this unit introduces the two types of skills most used in acquiring a second language, receptive and productive. A set of examples for each skill was given. For example receptive includes listening and reading while productive includes writing and speaking. There is a big difference in how you would teach vocabulary, grammar and functions. Be aware of the language level your students are on. Activate stage is important in order for students to practice what they have studied. Grammar, vocabulary and functions are equally important. Make use of lots of pictures, mime, realia in engage phase. Most important for students is to understand, write and pronounce correctly.
